Bryn Mawr Care provides specialized mental health services to adults with mental illnesses. Our approach is to focus on the individual as a part of our community; a community dedicated to providing an environment conducive to Recovery. Our focus is on developing and providing the tools needed for our residents to overcome the challenges presented by their mental illness. For many of our residents that means returning to the community and living independently.
Residents at Bryn Mawr Care are given the opportunity to gain a variety of skills to assist them in living their best life. Areas of focus may include; the management of symptoms, improving social skills, increase independence, vocational training and much more. Improving the quality of one’s life is our ultimate goal.
Bryn Mawr Care is proud to a part of the rich history in Chicago’s Edgewater community for many years. Residents, family members and guests have convenient access to many stores, restaurants, boutique style shops, and of course the breathtaking Lake Michigan shoreline and surrounding recreational areas.
